The Statesmen and Lady Statesmen track and field teams will be competing on a brand new outdoor surface next spring.  Fans can view photos of the new track by clicking here and then going to the 2011-2012 folder, then the Men's Track and Field folder, and finally the Track Construction folder.  Additional photos of the second story of the press box are there as well.Senior Bo Darrow captured a third place finish in the men's javelin throw, while the 4x800 meter relay team was one of five team's to break the previous meet record, as it also took third, to highlight the first full day of the Iowa Conference Outdoor Championships.
